New Shipping Information:
We have had all sorts
of "issues" with freight companies the past couple years trying to use Economy Freight brokers, discounted shipping
companies, etc. This was all in an effort to get the Trailer Toads to the customers at a lower cost.
Basically, it was a joke. It ended up costing us more to ship than the quote about
60% of the time and tracking was difficult and delivery times meant nothing to the Economy Freight companies.
It was NOT good customer service for my customers and I had no control
over it. Those days are behind us now.
We do not want to raise the price of the Trailer Toads even though our costs have went up significantly but... we
have decided we will not lose money on shipping costs any longer.
To that end we will get
a freight quote for each shipment and send a copy of the quote to you, the customer, you will know exactly what the freight
costs are. We do not want to make money on shipping costs but we can no longer lose hundreds of dollars on a single shipment
because the company decides to charge more. It is ridiculous and I have fought it long enough.
As of today, June 17th, 2019
we will use just two freight companies to deliver Trailer Toads.
FedEx Freight LTL and SAIA Freight.
Accelerated, Priority and Insured Shipping quotes available, just ask when you call.
shipment arrival time is critical we recommend Accelerated / Priority Shipping.
We will work with these
two Carriers to get you the lowest rate and best delivery service we can. Remember, this is not UPS or Fed Ex Ground, it is
Truck Freight and delivery times are basically an estimate. (They do offer Guaranteed Delivery dates).
Priority and Time Critical delivery is available, call for
$66.00 "Custom Pallet Fee" will be added to every shipment
This fee covers the cost of the custom, heavy duty pallets we have
built to protect your Trailer Toad during transportation.
is the Customer's Responsibility to thoroughly inspect the Trailer Toad upon delivery.
*** IMPORTANT!! If it is damaged during shipment and the Delivery
Receipt is signed without noting the damage and having the Driver sign the description of the damage; we have literally NO
CHANCE to get those damages paid for.
is IMPORTANT, take your time and look for scratches, damages to
the shrink wrap that might indicate a forklift hit the Trailer Toad or a broken, tore up pallet. Make notes on both copies
of the Delivery Receipt and take photos of any damages. It is rare that damage occurs but IMPORTANT you inspect the delivery
