Company Policy for Trailer Toad LLC
**IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Please Read this document. If you have just purchased a Trailer Toad 3500HD or a Trailer Toad 5000SD. Please read the Owner’s Manual and if you have any questions about installation or setup; please call the company owner, Jok Nicholson at (319) 404-7001. We will do all we can to get you “on the road” as quickly and safely as we possibly can.
Initial setup and adjustments average about 90 minutes with correct tools and skills. We have built the Trailer Toads and take pride in the finished product. To that end we assume you are aware that routine maintenance and inspection of components before every trip is your responsibility. Towing heavy trailers is inherently dangerous and every precaution should be taken to prevent an accident. Reference “TIGHT TURN WARNING” page in your Owner’s Information packet.Warranty: *12-month, from date of shipment, Limited Warranty; is provided to the original purchaser (owner) against manufacturing defects to frame structure. *Tires, axle assemblies, fenders and any weight-distribution hitch components may be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty; they are not covered by the Trailer Toad LLC Limited Warranty. *Items that undergo normal “wear”; tires, bearings and paint are not covered by the Limited Warranty and are items that require routine maintenance. *There is no other Warranty or Guarantee stated or implied due to the unusual stress placed on the Trailer Toad and related components. Trailer Toad LLC assumes no responsibility nor implies any Warranty on the Trailer Toad, other than outlined above, because Trailer Toad LLC has no control over the installation, maintenance, use and application of each Trailer Toad. *Trailer Toad LLC assumes no responsibility for any personal injury, loss or property damage resulting from the purchase and/or use of the Trailer Toad by either the original owner or any subsequent owners of a Trailer Toad. Any Warranty issue or claim must be presented to Trailer Toad LLC. All decisions pertaining to Warranty claims by Trailer Toad LLC will be final. Claims: Inspect your Trailer Toad and related items UPON DELIVERY. Do not sign for delivery if there is apparent damage without showing the damage to truck driver and noting this damage on all copies of the Delivery Receipt the truck driver will have. Claims for damage, open or concealed, must be made immediately so the freight company can be notified. Failure to do this may affect your claim and could possibly make it impossible to be reimbursed for freight damages. Claims for damages or shortages must be made to Trailer Toad LLC within five days of delivery via phone, email or Priority Mail.Returns: We will not accept the return of a Trailer Toad or components that have been installed, used or altered in any manner. If we agree to a Return of used or altered Trailer Toad there will be a 25% Return fee, based on purchase price, Before it can be returned you must call Trailer Toad (319) 404-7001. Customer is responsible for return shipping costs; any shipment that comes in C.O.D. will be rejected and returned at shipper’s expense. General Information:
